Host organization

 

The West Bengal Comprehensive Area Development Corporation was established by the West Bengal Comprehensive Area Development Act., 1974.  At present its nodal department is Panachyet and Rural Development, Govt. of West Bengal.  This is a statutory body with the Minister in charge, P&RD, Govt. of West Bengal as the Chairman and the Principal Secretary, P&RD, Govt. of West Bengal as the Executive Vice Chairman. Administrative Secretary in the rank of Joint Secretary / Special Secretary, P&RD, Govt. of W.B. looks after the day to day work of the organization.
